Just email The ENFI guy and ask. you'll have your answer either way. not exactly time consuming or dangerous to do.
Steve
i have tried this several times....
the last time as i do this lies 3 days ago..
always with no answer.
Well, Here I am - Luciano M. Trentadue, site owner of EFNI.
In first, let me explain that I HAVE NOT a lawyer - so, don't worry.
I did not respond because i have not found any e-mail...Sorry, I have checked the mailbox but I have not found anything. Anyway:
1) I have nothing against the production of a small batch of minis of the Nova II - I mean, below the 50 or so models.
2) EFNI is copyrighted (U.S, Congress Libruary deposit) - I did this in order to avoid mass appropriation of the containts of the site by people that, later, tried to copyright it as their own. Small bumps in the past...
3) From EFNI main page:
"This site is intended to be only for recreational purpose, it hasn't profit purpose. Babylon 5, characters, names, and all related indicia are trademarks of the Time Warner Entertainment Co. LP. Pictures from Babylon 5 are ©1992-1997 Time Warner Entertainment Co. LP.All rights reserved. This site is not affiliated with or endorsed by Babylonian Productions, PTEN Consortium, or Time Warner Entertainment Co.
The drawings and fanfictions related to this page are Non - Canon, are not intended as an offense to nobody, are not intended as a violation of copyrights."
4) If Mongoose (that owns the copyrigts for Babylon5-verse minis) has nothing against your use of Nova II of EFNI conceptual design for the creation of a mini, for me, you can build a master and produce some resin copies (see point 1). Take into account that the copyright on the B5-Verse of the ships models is theirs...I don't want
their lawyers jumping at
my throat...
TO MONGOOSE PUBLISHING EDITORS/P.R. PERSONNEL: HOW CAN I CONTACT ONE OF YOU?
please, email me at webmaster@efni.org
Thanks in advance - L.M.Trentadue.
