Crusade EA Project: The Quasar Dreadnought -STARTS-

Hi,folks.
I present my next scratchbuild from the E.F.N.I. site.
After the Boreas and the Pegasus comes now the Quasar Dreadnought
(i not really like this name....but ok)
here are the current project step. i am nearly ready with the basic hull and add currently the hull plating. i find it is not really difficult to build this ship.... :wink:

That ship looks like it will be really cool. Have you ever considered making a mini for the EAS Titans from the E.F.N.I site. I've 90% figured out how to do it, just don't know how to get discharge guns that are small enough. Also I'm not sure anyone would ever let me use it in a game, it's kind of a scary ship.

Someone made a model of the Titans a while back, can't remember who. They used Vorlon fighters for the turrets...

yep....any member of the forum has modified an warlock with heavy cruiser parts and fighters as turrets....but i don´t find his tread....it is an long time ago....

no. let me finish this ship and then i make a pic with all of my EA scratchbuilds, Boreas, Pegasus,Charybdis and this ship,ok? and with all of my Narn, Centauri, Shadow stuff.... :wink:

Hadn't thought of fighters. You would have to file/grind the back down a bit to make them look more turret like, but I could see how they would work.

Building News:

the Quasar Dreadnought (or Supernova) is nearly finish, now. only a few details lacks...Turrets, antennas etc...

You really are talented at this Shadow, I don't think I could pull off scratch builds like this. I know you don't own the 'rights' to a couple of your older designs, but seriously, I'm really suprised that Mongoose hasn't approached you to work for them on their sculpts. *hinthint*

Don't get me wrong, it's really nice but gaming wise it be pointless for the EA to field it since there is the Apollo Strike Cruiser that can fill the role, albiet at battle level.

if you make it a raid and below priority level it might be doable, otherwise it would be redundant
