Here an interesting question do we have rules for concealed bay weapons? We have pop-up/concealed turrets but what about bays hidden by fake side panels? To me this makes sense but I don’t think I’ve ever seen any official rule for such, are there any? If so in what book?

I know of pop-up turrets and concealed docking spaces.
I am unaware of anything else besides an adjustable hull, or maybe a holographic hull that would hide a bay.
A concealed docking space costs twice as much as a regular docking space. You could house rule adding the cost of a similarly sized docking space, which would be paying the same amount for concealment. Otherwise, those are the current options.

I don't suggest pop up.
But you could put them behind cargo hatches.

Not really. A docking bay or concealed docking bay is an additional 10% over what's inside.
What book/supplement was that in?
Never saw an official rule for it, so I just fudged a +10% volume / +50% cost.

It may take a while to track it down, but I would not have added it to my Ship Designer - because it required changing what I already had and I am stubborn like that - if I hadn't found it or someone had not presented the rule for it.

So, bays would get a free pop-up treatment.
Does the spreadsheet have pop-up mountings at zero cost for everything (up to the infamous, never-before-heard-of pop-up spinal mount
) at zero cost if the ship has an adjustable hull?
