[CONAN] Hit Point Ceiling

I saw an interesting "gritty reality" rule in a generic d20 supplement. I don't think Conan needs this rule, as it's gritty enough already, but what the hey, I'll slap it on ya and see what your comments are.

The rule says that characters can never have more hit points than 2x CON. Fighter class characters are restricted to a hit point ceiling of 3x CON.

Interesting, yes?
 
This would work if you eliminated power attack. It would certainly make gamers think twice before wading into combat, potentially utilizing ambushing and sneak attacks more often (kinda like real life). You could fiddle around with the rule a tad, and make high level non-fighters, (10th and over) get 3x CON, and Fighters maybe get 4x CON.

In fairness, make healing poultices and salves more available and cheaper.
Institute a "grace" point thingy for quick regeneration, as well.
