p113. Combat Expertise (Special) states that Combat Expertise can be used in combination with Total Defence.
p168. Total Defence. States that it cannot be used with Combat Expertise.

p159. Second column: "Note that armour limits your Dexterity bonus, so if you are wearing armour, you might not be able to apply your whole Dexterity bonus to your Dodge Bonus." (Entire paragraph should be moved under Dodging, next page.)

Following paragraph: Three references to Dexterity bonus should be to "dodge or parry bonuses".

p161. Flat-footed. References to Dexterity bonus should be to "dodge or parry bonuses."

p162. Unaware Combatants. Same as above.

I'm beginning to think that cut & paste is not your friend.
 
p188 states both hands must be free for spellcasting. p196 states that you only need one hand for Somatic components.

Alot of errors are present in this book, no doubt about that. But some of them are clearly not rules-related.

When the Official Errata is released, could someone separate the grammatical errors from the rules errors please?

Having to wade through p. xx period should replace comma p. xz The instead of There type errors to get to the ones that actually impact game play/rules reference would be a headache.

Certainly include them, but perhaps a FAQ section answering and clarifying any rules errors... AND THEN a page by page errata of the whole book would be GREAT!

I think the idea of this thread is to compile ALL errors. However, it would be nice if someone seperated all the grammar and spelling errors from the rules and setting errors.

I personally dont give two wits about grammatical errors if there are more important questions needing to be answered. And in this case there are.

I don't think that Tarot was trying to degrade the game. Just helping.

So Ken, why don't you lighten up a bit then? eh? :lol:

I think that's because they based the spell (in part) on the pre-errata 3.5 version of the Shapechange spell. Errata does mention upper limit is current class level, not twice (with a max at 25 HD, not 50)
 
I've seen two references to Massive damage, one says save or you are reduced to -1 hp, the other one says save or die...

Which is it?

Well, the back cover is a bit schitzophrenic about how to spell "roleplaying," but I wasn't going to mention that.

And there is at least one typo in the Index, but I will leave that as an exercise for the class.

Yes. I did let my frustration cause me to include a handful of the more amusing typos that I found. But trust me, I have shown incredible restraint in regards to spelling and grammar.

p87. Climb. Ditto. Well, I'd allow you to stop, hold on with one hand, draw a light weapon and parry. Paragraph also says that you can cast a spell one-handed, while Sorcery chapter differs.

p179. Feint. "Dexterity bonus to DV" should be "dodge or parry bonus to DV"
p177. Helpless Defenders (Regular Attack). Ditto and Armour Class should be DV.
p180. No Dexterity Bonus. Should be No Dodge or Parry Bonus. "Dexterity bonus to DV" should be "dodge or parry bonus to DV". Exception: Human Shield manoeuvre.
