Good luck with the awards, you deserve it!

Many thanks! We are up against some great games, so we aren't holding our breath, but it is cool that somebody saw fit to nominate us :)

Hello hello,

I am interested by Clockwork & Chivalry but as far as I understood, it's destined to be used with MRQ2.
However, I own the first edition of the rules.

What parts of the C&C books are using specific MRQ2 rules ? (let say in the main book)

Pierre

Welcome Pierre :)

I would say that if you are familiar with D100 mechanics it shouldn't be too hard, although Alchemy, etc., is tied into the MRQII spell lists, etc.

Views people?

Buy core RQ2, even a pdf it ain't much and will make things easier - also, it kicks MRQ1's arse...

To be sincere, if I planned to buy MRQ2, I wouldn't have come here with my question.

Hmm... perhaps there is a S&P article underlining the differences between the two versions of the rules ? So I can get a rough idea of the "obstacle".

How well would C&C material fit with an existing Deus Vult campaign?

Much as I'd like to persuade you that you should rush out and buy C&C, I have to say, there's not much that would fit. C&C is 17th century, the tech levels and religious factions are completely different. The witchcraft rules in Divers & Sundry could be tweaked to fit, but most of it's too period-specific.

Bringing Deus Vult into a C&C campaign however, that would be interesting! Having the Order as a secret Catholic Faction working behind the scenes in the English Civil War could be lots of fun. :)

We're pleased to note that Divers and Sundry, our most recent Clockwork & Chivalry supplement, has been nominated for an Oggie Award by the Organisation of Gamers and Roleplaying Enthusiasts (OGRE) in the Ebook category.
