Class of the titains

I use alot of greek myths in my current game and was woundering what or how wold you create the madusa from class of the titans?Also I have a few skeletons in my closet so to speek and was woundering on how would you treat rusty swords?I was told I could have the players make a FORT save of dc 10 to keep themselves from getting tetnis,if thats how you spell.What do you all think?

Rusty swords: above all, they should have reduced AP value (=not as sharp), hardness and hitpoints.

If you want to inflict tetanus infections on your players, you don't need rusty swords btw. They'd have to roll on _any_ hit that draws blood. Since tetanus is pretty lethal even in modern days, a failed save (think rule of 1) in a medieval setting is nothing less than a death sentence without appeal (even if they survive, their adventuring careers will be over). I can't imagine any player would be impressed with that.

I was thinking that these old weapons with the rust on them would be pretty ugly if they would slice your arm and the rust got into your blood.I heard i could make it a FORT dc 10 save to keep from getting the infection with it only doing 1d4 temp con?
