Character Portrait resources

Hi all

Does anyone know of a decent web resource for getting character portraits that would work with Traveller? I like comic book/manga style stuff myself, but anything I could point my players to and ask them to pick from would be great.

Best potrait designer ever must be the Eve-online portrait designer.

Download the trial , make some faces, screenshot. I think you get a 2week free use, so make loads before your time runs out.

You don't even need to play the game,unless you are a glutton for punishment.

If you like portraits of the style of Shuchithra, I did that with the Create-A-Sim feature of The Sims 2...

RPOL.net has a very large image gallery. Join up (free), start a game and create a character to get access to the portraits.

Thanks guys. I'd not even though about using computer game generators! Not sure I can risk reinstalling EVE though - I'm only just out of re-hab after the last time it took over my life...

I like elfwood gallery,
a little 'print-screen', paste to paint, cut and paste the faces I want...a little troublesome but lets me get rid of the bit I don't need.

Damn someone beat me to it... I periodically surf Elfwood, Rendosity and other sites to steal images that might work.

I also went to scientific american and stole the renditions of the extrasolar planets they've found (both thumbnails and large image) and the known data too
