Chernobyl,
Thank you for the work on the cards. They look great and are very helpful. I am looking forward to using them to demo the game at my FLGS (which I own but that's a story for another time). I do have a question... Is there anywhere in print that lists the order that you plan to do the rest in and, is there any "simple grunt work" that I or others could volunteer to help you with. That'd free you up for the glory work and make your life a little easier. I, for one, would gladly pony up a few hours to give you a hand.

I've been contemplating doing the Psi Corp after the Vree. Should be a quick fleet to do. If I judged it by the number of hits a particular fleet page has gotten, and did the fleet with the next highest number of hits, it would be the Abbai.

I still maintain that the "core" races from the show (EA, Narn, and ISA, remaining) should be finished before adding in the other races, despite their popularity. Having the core races available will make it easier to demo for new players, IMO.

a note on the Centauri

The Adira, and some other very large ships, have a very high number of damage and crew. To make sure the ship will fit on the card, a gray box with a number "5" appears to represent 5 damage or crew. When recording damage, its best to use these first when possible.

so for example, if you take a hit that does 9 damage, mark one of the "5" boxes off and 4 normal boxes. if you take 12 damage, mark off 2 "5" boxes and 2 normal boxes, and so on. The Adira only has a small number of these "5" boxes, and so shouldn't prove much difficulty. I imagine the Ka'Bin'Tak will have many of them though, so its important that you use the "5" boxes in preference to singles when possible.

its the best I could come up with, I suppose. a normal row of boxes has 20 spots. with the 5 "5" boxes, and 15 normal boxes, the row now has a total value of 40. So, basically it doubles the amount of points damage/crew I can represent. One of the limitations of using small cards.

Vree update:
The base cards are just about finished, all that is left is to edit up the pictures of the 3 new ships to 2nd edition - Xonn, Xeel, and Zorth. Then, I'll get to work on posting the fleet. With luck that will be sunday night. But I have games scheduled for tonight, and saturday (world wide gaming day), and possibly Sunday - so it might turn out nothing gets done at all this weekdn. we'll see.

Thanks once again all very nice - especially the stiring words on the Centauri sheets - look forward to seeing what you do with the Shadows - the scream would be nice :)

Hope feel better soon :)

the shadow sound bite is already there - you get to hear the late lt. keffer describe his run-in with a shadow ship...

Chernobyl,
Any word on which fleet will be posted next? I am hoping for ISA or Narn. Totally selfish of me but that's two of the fleets that I have. Just started Centauri and my wife has Minbari. Anyway, it's been since the 8th when the Vree went up (my 10 year old son's fleet).
Great work by the way. I know that we appreciate it very much here.
