Card Game: Surviving a mission mean never dying?

In the missions where you are to "survive", does that mean you're not supposed to die at all during the mission? Or does that mean that as long as you're alive when the mission ends (i.e. you have died, but your cloned made it back before the mission ended), then you have survived?

Yes - the second one.

Surviving a mission by losing a Clone isn't really going to make your life easier though... but sometimes, it works!

Actually my intent was surviving a mission means surviving the entire mission without dying. In the original version I sent in I suggested giving players a Success/Failure card or token so that they could keep track of who had/had not died.

Make sure that makes the errata, since that's a rather confusing part of the rules.
