Burger's ship viewer

Actually no plans to add the fleet roster to the top of the "Generate" fleet. Reasons are:
- For a standalone or campaign or friendly game you won't necessarily want the roster.
- For a tournament game you'll want 2 copies of the roster

So it doesn't really make sense to attach the roster to the top of the fleet list. Better to keep them separate, so you can choose how many copies to print independently of your ship sheets.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, not talking about the roster,
juste your fleet name and amiral name.
Let's say some green drazi encounter some purple ones and you'll like to
knows who's who ;-)

Never been asking for the complete roster before the pdfs.
I didn't say that, I do not say that now ... ;-)

Nah, the fleet/admiral name won't appear on the ship data sheets. This is so you can re-use the data sheets for the next game :)

So does this ship viewer have something for those of us that Armegeddon impaired?
I would love to make fleet lists with the SFOS stats, but I am not sure that is possible. Or am I just missing something?

Nah, the Fleet Designer only has Armageddon stats. I might have a look at making a SFOS-Tourney version later today, but standard SFOS stats are unlikely to ever appear since I don't have them on my database.

Your ship viewer also has heinous amounts of Javascript errors

Which has nothing to do with the sheets. Stupid geocities adds in some broken javascript code to the top of every single page so you get this constant stream of errors. Obnoxious as hell and a classic case of "You get what you pay for"

Well it does have to do with it cos its feckin annoying trying to find the ship you want, having to click "cancel" on 2 javascript popups every time you switch page or look at a different ship. Just my opinion though.

I pay nothing for my hosting, and have no javascript errors ;) Bandwidth limitations yes, but thats only an issue when I do a big update and everyone and their dog goes to view it all at once.

Agreed. It is annoying, but nothing that can be done about it due to the host. Seriously need to set up my own site at some point so that silly things like this go away. Need to stick with my priorities though. Current project is to get the combat sim onto codeplex so that it can work like a proper open source project.

Tickboxes are added for critical hits.

There are boxes for 3 of each type of critical (anny more than that its not really worth keeping track of!).

The boxes have a top row and a bottom row. The idea is, when you take the crit, you fill in the top box. In the end phase you do repairs, but you can only try to repair crits which have the bottom box filled in. Then you fill in the bottom boxes of any crits taken this turn, so you can repair them next turn.

you haven't added to the .PDF files yet, only the .HTML ones (but I guess you know that...)
Oh yeah... since the PDFs all have to be updated individually (over 250 of them) whereas the HTML is just a code update, I'm really not planning that any time soon. For now if you want PDF, I recommend a PDF file printer such as the free PrimoPDF. Just print the HTML page, and save in your desired location :) Or, suffer with no crit tickboxes ;)

Make sure "Print background colours and images" is ticked in your browser to ensure the crippled/skeleton colours are shown.

thanks very much for an excellent resource - and all the hard work
:D
Can you change fighters in ships when choosing a fleet - eg sentris for Raziks - I often have one of each in a Primus or two of each in an Octurion?

I could not see how to do it which means prob I am being stupid!

regards
