My advice would be to stay in the Trojan Reach. Loads of published adventures + the whole Drinax campaign if you want. My advice, if your players have a ship, would be to start with Flat Lined (Rift Adventure 3), followed by Death Station, and then if you can get them to Argona, Borderland Run (Reach Adventure 6)!

the 2022 rules update was mostly edited for clarity with a few small updates. It was not an entirely new edition and thus should be 98% compatible with any of the adventures you'd run at your table.

There is very little difficulty is using classic Traveller, MegaTraveller, and Mongoose Traveller adventures with each other's rules,

When displaying the maps to the players, tabletop or VTT as a GM we often have to hide the indicator/number on numbered locations to prevent players from meta gaming and only visiting spaces that have numbers.

For a PDF it would be double the number of maps, with a Players Version and a GM Version. Most VTT products do that already.
