Nice report, but I may be a little confused, you mention the fighters attacking Minbari cap ships and failing stealth, um, I thought if they got close up and personal, they didn't need to make stealth rolls?

Bugger. Add yet another rule we(or rather I since I'm the one who technicly owns the rulebooks) forgot.
Though illogical fluff point of view that they don't...Fighters(well minbari fighters anyway. And concidering speeds/distances involved so would any other...) still fire their weapons computer assisted. That means need for lock on...Ergo stealth should still be factor.
Well. Odds are wouldn't have mattered much anyway.
I think it's "be sensible" as we know from centre to centre on a large base you can't get within 1"!
it's the hitting the barn kind of effect, your fighter flys along next to a sharlin, switch to manual, you really shouldn't miss! (and here someone will come along with in space physics about comparable speeds and so on, go for it ;-) )
That's actually more than fair point concidering SPEEDS and DISTANCES involved Even at close ranges distances are going to be LOOONG and fighters will be moving at FAST speeds
Manual firing isn't all that viable solution. Especially against moving targets.
but then it is a FICTION show
You have to rememeber a starfury can only move as fast as the plot dictates, therefore if the plot dictates that it can shoot a Sharlin, then it can, heh
I was SOOOOO hoping to actually win THIS battle report(for a change...). Enter turn 5 and it's streak of 7 1's out of 7 stealth attempts...(I think I forgot to mention it in the report that all stealth rolls were natural 1's...I think that's first time I have rolled seven 1's out of seven logically connected dice rolls...Though still isn't as impressive streak as my friends roll of 12 6's out of 12 dices. And these were physically rolled at the same time! Couldn't believe my eyes when I checked the dices...).
Add in the superlative critical rolling on that turn and...Well "oh bugger" sums it up
