Box sets get a 13.7% increase

At present no nation has managed free its self effectively from the burden of "government" and thus gain a decisive advantage over the rest of us. Naturally all "governments" continue to espouse there existence as necessary regardless of how obviously self serving such statements are. Thankful we can count on "government" to continue sustain its self at our "reasonable" expense due to the rest of us not wishing to do the work of running these things call countries ourselves.

Thank you for clearing up the price increase. I'm not going to pretend that I understand VAT for a second. But if any of you are looking for someone who likes to remake the social order of things over night, we in Oklahoma have a president we would be more than happy to left you have.

Im no legal expert but if its priced at $14.99 even if its a mistake you legal can pay $14.99.

Just for reference - no you can't unless they chose to let you. A contract is an offer and acceptance, but the "offer" is you offering to pay the supplier something.

They can decline it - even if it's the same as (or even more than) their published price. They can always refuse to serve you, for whatever reason they chose to give, unless you have a legal provision for compulsory purchase*.

* Comes up either in buying land for civic projects a lot, so Jeff at number 36 can't stop a project that's bought up every other plot of land for two streets in every direction, or in forcible requisition by the MoD/Home Office for 'defense & security of the realm' type stuff. Awesome though they look, I can't offhand see how ACTA miniatures could be used to thwart terrorist attacks...

just remember of ccourse, YOU will now pay the import duty, takes the gloss right off the "bargains" you can pick up. Sometimes you still save a little, sometimes you pay a lot, terrible system really.

Appears to be getting worse as well in the sense that in my neck of the woods happens every time now. Used to be 1 in 10 of my USA purchases was hit for duty but now in the last few months it has been 1 in 1. Think there may be a lower value threshold where they still might be ignored but not quite sussed it yet.
