Black Industries?

I've heard through the grapevine, that MGP may or may not have been bought out by Black Industries, who do not have anything to do with miniatures production but were apparently very interested in the MGP publishing arm.

Could this be the reason why miniatures production is to be dropped, but the publishing wing will continue on, would someone from MGP care to admitt or deny this rumour?

The source I spoke to is very reliable.

This is not a nose rubbing, or feather-ruffling attempt, just a genuine question so MGP please don't take exception to my asking. You could just tell me to bugger off if you like!

Given that Black Industries have announced that they won't be producing any more products, I find that doubtful.

Foxmeister is correct as of october 2008 Black industries will cease trading there final release item will be the 3rd or 4th Dark heresy expansion then they're gone, along with Dark heresy and Warhammer RPG.

seems like sad times for the hobby, with Mongoose basically dead to my gaming group now and Dark Heresy dead in the water 3 days after it was released.

To confirm the above Black Library is separate, though affiliated (ie a GW sub) to Black Industries. BI is being closed.

I wonder what will go next.
