BF:Evo Terrain

Wow, thats cool. Im definatly gonna have to buy some plasticville, I love the Apartment and the hanger, and that hospital looks pretty sweet too!

Good thing I've got a ton of these things now. After mentioning Plasticville on several forums, I think I've just raised the value of these things on eBay.

Here's some other pics of my Plasticville USA buildings. These shots were taken after I cleaned up the models I had and base painted them some 'normal' colors.

As you can see, it could be a bit crowded with some interior walls, but not impossible. There's even room enough for a 1/43rd scale car in the garage.

Most Of the street scenes we make. However I have come accross this site for reasonable resin terrain. This is what we take to game stores and cons.

As I hate having to repair my work instead of playing. This works with sst, clix, gump works and the like.

Yeah I use this stuff too. Glad War-Torn is taking over the Armorcast stuff.

The big grey building in the back is a Flying Tricycle kit. It's laser cut plywood. Very nice, very sturdy and lightweight. More expensive and less detailed than the Armorcast stuff though (I prefer their medival stuff with all the stonework and wood grains etched in).

I use these for many applications, including SST, GofMC1, Rezolution, Urban War, Warzone, Void 1.1, you name it!

These are from Armorcast which no longer produces them. However, I heard that War-Torn has bought the molds and is putting them back out...for less! The pieces on their catalog look new, as I haven't seen them on Armorcast's but they match the existing Armorcast stuff perfectly.

There's some good articles on the Miniatures Page under the title of Warzone Chronicles dealing with mods of these buildings. They look pretty sharp when fixed up.

The Armorcast Brick Building Ruins

I started by basing everything with DAP Grey Primer.

Then using Reaper Brick Red, I dry brushed over the brick surfaces.

Then dry brushing another grey over the stucco surfaces, with a lighter highlight.

Then I painted in the grafiti, and afterwards did the blast and burn marks using a combination dark grey and brown dry brushes and washes.

After all that, a very thin black ink-wash.

Looking at the Forces of Valor toys/minis, I thought it would be cool if each squad came with a bit of terrain like a sandbag emplacement, roadsigns, drums, whatever. Although,I would prefer a full squad to a half with the terrain.
