BF:E Scenery idea, Ziterdes scenery question & an experi

I gave mine a wash of thinned down GW black, followed by various wet and drybrushes. The wash seems to have sealed them nicely, as they aren't dusting anymore. I just aquired some more stinky matt varnish, so I'll probably varnish all my scenery in one go, to keep the stink down to a minimum.

SO I had a good look at my Ziterdes scenery last night, very happy with it, cheap and useable.

One thing though, the building ruins are almost raised off the ground level and the walls are quite thick, so I'm wondering how best to treat the terrain in BF:Evo, probably the whole thing as cover, except the outside 'enbankment' otherwise noone would be able to shoot out from the windown.

ANyone else have a different idea?
