Hmmm.... I know this is far fetched, but I would love to see a Master of Orion game that included all the races from all three games. That's easily more fleets than even B5 has.

Speaking of B5 has anyone done more of the ships from the old AoG line into ACtA? If not, would it be legal to do so once the B5 license goes away? I wanted to give the Ancients more options so they could be a viable choice for campaigns. That and all the lesser League races. I wouldn't mind doing it myself, but if someone's already done the work...

Master of Orion, great game until MOO3, lost many hours on the first two. Lost no time on the third. Still a classic disapponitment for me.
I am no legal expert but the first thing to avoid is any money changing hands ie selling something containing another parties IP is most definitely illegal . Free release avoids that pitfall but that does not mean to say that you are then safe as I guess, as in all legal matters, it then becomes very complex.
If you go the route you also should include all contribution references and relevant waivers to copywrite
I am sure that other more knowledgable forum members will contribute on this question.
Having said that, free B5 wars material is still being produced to this day, in fact I believe a well known B5 Wars fan has just released a huge document, the new title escapes me, effectively designed to be a major upgrade to the original B5 Wars rules. Looks an epic piece of work.
Personally I have not seen any CTA, war of the ancients type material but sounds like a nice idea..
I know that there are a few works in the pipelime expanding on various races and time periods as well as alternate universes. Katadder has also produced some excellent CTA rules for most of the "well known" B5 lesser races, Hyach, Cascour, Ipsha, Hurr & Grome.
Don't think it is in the resources thread but a forum search should find it, alternatively PM me.
