Worth pointing out that we have had both Trek and Star Wars adaptations of the CTA rules running for some time

But all the adaptions are unofficial and fan made are they not?

I certainly wouldn't grumble at an official license for either to thegames mentioned, especially ifthere was a miniatures line to accompany it.

Personally, I'd like to see some of the lesser expanded shows come up for gaming.
-SAAB would be fun but pretty limited: Chigs, Humans and mayb AI ??

-Firefly could be an interesting mix of 1 large faction versus smaller raiders/runners/leagues/Reavers factions

-I think Farscape could have the best results with variation since there were so many other races that were only touched upon and you already have 2 heavies to start with: Scarrens and the Peacekeepers.

3 Heavies, the Nebari seemed to be hard core also.

Faith man, get it right, and unless your preference is more in the area of say hugh Jackman, who wouldn't want a poster of Faith? I also have one of Charisma carpenter, but she's let herself go recently.

How about Battle Fleet Gothic ACTA? A joint project with GW or who ever owns the licence at the moment? It could sell more minis for them.

You can still buy BFg minis right now. Besides where could you take it. All the 40K races are fleeted out already. I am guessing for the moment that GW see BFG as a dead end. Not to say it wo'nt come back some day. Anyway what would be the contribution by Mongoose that GW would not feel they can cover anyway.

As a long term & very keen X Player - I definitely go for this one. Stack of fleets, some great design ships. gets my vote.

Amazing - that a lot of people have never heard of it.

They sell diecasts through their website but they are exorbitantly expensive. EVE might have some pull from the MMO community but I'm not sure how much penetration there would be into the offline market. Besides, any miniatures games would likely be produced via White Wolf rather than Mongoose.

Well since everyone is giving out there 2 cents worth I thought I would throw out Dune. Many houses to choose from and the world is interesting enough. Although Farscape, would be nice to see as well. Anything but Star Trek god I hated them all except DS:9

Farscape would be superb esp with models as would Stargate (my two fav suggestions thus far

Battlestar could be good - extrapolations fo fleets is no biggie

IIRC Eve is bringing out a boardgame with models?

BFG is great but yeah its got most stuff............

How about the Homeworld series?

Ok, the game was a rip off of the battlestar story but the ships where certainly cool looking...

I could so go for that.

Homeworld: Cataclysm is without a doubt one of the best games I've played.

You have about 8 fleets ready I think though some would need to be filled out a bit.
