Behind the Claw editorial suggestion

I imagine it's too late to alter the course now, whatever it might be, but one thing I might suggest for the upcoming "Behind the Claw" book is to alter the design a bit from what we got in the Trojan Reach book that came with "Pirates of Drinax." The system write-ups in that book tend to be loaded with spoilers, often making them unsuitable for players. I've painstakingly gone through the ones in the PDF version, edited them, and distributed the info to my players, but I would have preferred it had I been able to just let them peruse the book (or buy their own if it were available individually).

Some players in a campaign I run are excited about "Behind the Claw" and I don't want to impede their curiosity (or purchasing power!) by trying to control access to the book. We'll be running an extensive campaign in Deneb sector and it's fun to use the materials in the book. I only hope they're not loaded with spoilers so the players reduce their fun by reading them ahead of time.

Just my $0.02. Thanks for reading!

A very good idea. 1 of mine is a suggestion for ideas for some Missions in Deneb based on fan favourites Adventures and Adventure Seeds from "Pirates of Drinax." in the hope of attracting some "Pirates of Drinax." GM's and Players. What do the rest of you think?

Deneb is very far from Drinax, and the local situation is entirely different.

Besides, I'd have thought players would prefer to have new adventures rather than another reskin of that damned Nuketown map....oh wait, wrong game.

Not here, I want to see adventures located in a new setting, and NOT in the Third Empire. The Trojan Reach is OK to me.

I’ll be very happy to see new material that completely differentiates itself from the Drinax campaign. Let’s have a new flavor. For me, Deneb and the Spinward Marches invoke more of a Dune/Foundation/Babylon 5 feel where Drinax and the Trojan Reach for lack of a better analog are more Fireflyesque.

The material in the MgT1 books for these sectors is great. I’m excited to see you enhance it.

We have been talking about a new mega-campaign that would effectively be a five year mission into deep, deep, deep space...

These are the voyages of the Free Trader Beowulf.

That's also been discussed. I have some very interesting ideas for where that can go.

But I bet I'm not supposed to tell you about them.

I've been working on stuff for Beyond the Rim, Rimward of Solomani Space. I started in Warzone Defence, Rimward of a dangerous to salvage subsector Warzone, and Rimward from there. Other aliens, stuff going on.

Spinward, through the Human Client states and past Zhodani space, would also be very interesting. Especially since AFAIK nothing has been done in that direction. :D
