Babylon 5 the Lost Tales

There's been quite a bit of activity on JMS News over the last couple of weeks and B5 - The Lost Tales is due to start shooting, some time next week. It is looking very cool, if you don't know where to go follow the link:

Must admit personally I have always hoped for any other Babylon 5 episodes to feature Commander Sinclair rather than Captain Sheridan as I much prefered Sinclair (both character & actor). Unlikely I know but one can hope!

Well, it's entirely possible that Sinclair will feature in one or more of the later ones, assuming there are more than are currently scheduled.

Dependant on sales, almost certainly, Peter Jurasik has been approached for a Molari story and there was a Garibaldi episode originally planned for volume one, which has been postponed for Vol 2 if that gets green-lighted.

A Sinclair/Valen one would be great (somewhat torpedoes by the lack of Zath'ras after Tim Choate's death :( )
Yup, but we could still get something from before he became Valen, or even after, but have Zathras off somewhere else.

Hi all,

Bit of an update I found while browsing around this evening. Scroll down to the second blue box, the press release...

Link to Aint It Cool story

It gives a bit of info about who the main characters are in the direct to dvd offering, now confirmed in the press release that states that production has now started. I won't spoil it here, for those who don't want to go and read, but I'm well happy about the last character listed 8)

Let the speculation commence...

Agreed, thanks for the link.

I'd like to see a story involving the origins of Marcus Cole, he was always my favorite character.

I'd second that (though it could be quite effects heavy given the snippet we got in the last script book...).

The big problem may be that Jason Carter is starting to look quite a bit older now :(

Have you read "To Dream In THe City Of Sorrows", novel #9 in the original run of B5 novels, that's the closest we've come to Marcus' origins thus far

To anyone who hasn't read City of Sorrows, I can't recommend it enough. It's pretty much essential reading (IMHO) to anyone running a B5 campaign which features the Rangers.

On another note, JMS has posted an update to filming, which is repeated on the JMSNews site. The link is here... latest JMSNews Post
