B5 ACTA how "old" is this game?

I just curious how long is this game in the market?

First time I saw it was August 2004 (GenCon).

In rules there is mentioned some Agents of Gaming miniatures. And on some ships date 98 can be seen. Is it (c) or date of Agents of Gaming miniatures?

Likely date of AoG miniatures.

The game uses VERY old models but the rules themselves are relativly new.

the mongoose game, ACTA is only a few years old, however it's predesesor B5 wars was out for some time previously between 5-10 years I think, many, indeed most of the models used are still from the AOG molds that Mongoose purchased hence any date stamps may well relate to when that mold was made by AOG.

b5 wars was certainly out while i was at uni in 97 they used to sell the models in my local book shop friarstreet books
