Armies of the Fifth Frontier War, Impressions Not Errata

Maybe something like the Hulkbuster armor was what they were aiming for.

I have the same issues with Battle Dress, but this has been adressed above. My main issue is the look of the vehicles. The imperial vehicles look good, very imperial. But the Zhodani vehicles seem...odd. The combat-oriented ones especially. A wedge with a gun strapped on it. When I saw the Z-80, I was taken aback a bit, I must say. It is a far cry from the original. A while your artworkt is usually top notch, I cannot say this for the Zho vehicles.
Other than that, the book is a treasure trove, everything I have hoped for.

Enclose the head in the torso.

Have the helmet be a point defence weapon system.
Which would be fine if the proportions were correct.
If you want to get real progressive with it, T4's Emperor's Arsenal had a TL 13 battlepod that replaced classic 'Battle Dress'... an egg shaped gravitic pod with a pilot inside with an FGMP and VRF Gauss gun.
But folks liked their 'Goons in Maroon' [the Marines] in anthromorphic armors. At the time, I could see both sides of the issue but battlepods are not very Starship Trooper-like and that's what Battle Dress was made to do from the get-go.

Indeed I do! I much prefer this look to a squad of eggs patrolling a cityscape
Plus, somewhat bigger than human size means troopers can go where other humans go, if capturing and holding ground is an objective.
