Anyone here in San Francisco?

Hello!

I've been wanting to play Conan since it first came out, but insanely enough I can't find ANYONE who's into doing it! I check out the bulletin board at Gamescape here, and have even looked on craigslist. Maybe I just don't know enough gamers. All the ones I know either aren't interested or have no time.

Some background: I'm 35, grew up gaming, but haven't played rpg's in many years (I tried to get into a "Game of Thrones" campaign, but that fizzled out). I'm so old school that d20 is still pretty new to me. I most likely can't commit to more than one night a week, but I'd be willing to change up my schedule for a kick-ass group!

Really? Come on...there's gotta be SOMEBODY that runs Conan in San Francisco! Or has tabletop RPG's really gone the way of the dodo here?

Alquemy, while this is the Conan RPG board and all, I doubt your're gonna get lucky here, as there is a relatively small band of regulars from all over the world posting here. I've seen individual people try posting an LFG/LFP request here but don't think any of them ever were successful.

Maybe your chance of success will be higher if you expand your search to the sites given in the following link:

We've had a similar problem in my city. Surprisingly enough, I met some nice gamers at a local pen&paper con, so it's not all that bleak.

Which of course doesn't mean you need to stop posting here. These forums sure could do with a little more action. =)

I can't believe you can't find a Conan team in San Francisco!:shock:
Maybe you should try the Local Game Stores (if there are still some) who are surely more in touch with the local gaming community.
