any problems with the 2nd edition B5 binding?

I am thinking about buying the 2nd edition Babylon 5 core rulebook online(as my local rpg shop doesn't have it)..and was wondering if anyone has seen any problems with the binding on it..i've had some problems w/other such rulebooks..where the book has kinda fallen apart and was wondering if this book suffers any of those problems

I purchased both 2nd ed of the main book and the fleet book. Binding is excellent, and I've noticed minimal warping. If there's one thing I'd gripe about its multiple spelling and grammatical errors. One would expect that books which I'm paying $65 for would be free of such mistakes.

Well, Mongoose was just offering the rules in a style of English that would reflect the small changes that would happen over time to the written word. Thus, the book is presented as if it was read in the future.

Stated just a bit more seriously, it is an area of QC that could always be improved upon, to be sure.

ah it doesn't matter now..i just purchased the 2nd edition rule-book, GM screen & Ragged Edge books from Mongoose and I'm eagerly awaiting them. (and i have some other Babylon rpg stuff already)

And one of these days I'm going to purchase the whole 5 seasons of B5 on DVD...its been so long since i seen them

hiya, dunno your location, but play.com are selling them (region 2) for £14.99 a season at the mo which i think is pretty good, sure other online retailers are offering similar prices ...

For anyone that also has been getting the B5 Script Books by JMS, the DVDs episodes take on a whole new meaning.

I have been reading the intro to the script in the books and watching the episode as I read the script.

REALLY interesting stuff!

I like seeing how the directors changed a scene, or the actors chose to interpret a certain scene as well as how the scene changed from the published script. JMS often rewrote what didn't work on the fly and in the script books you get the original script usually, not the final version that aired.

Anyone interested in the process of making a TV show will LOVE the script books. Combined with the DVD episodes, it is great!

ha ha hahahahahahaha (and more evil laughter)...I've purchased the entire 5 seasons of Babylon 5 on DVD along with the Babylon 5 tv movie package from Amazon.ca..this along with my Babylon 5 rpg purchase will finally allow me to rule the universe...
