Any Navwar dealers at Call to Arms in Newbury, Saturday?

I'd like to grab a fleet this weekend if I can. I know GHQ will probably be available, but they're a little beyond my budget right now.

There isn't a list of traders for Call to Arms so I can't say.

I am having a trade stand there but haven't got my stock of Davco ships yet, sorry.

If you don't get what you want let me know and I can get them in next weeks order.

Keep Wargaming isn't all that far away in Devizes. I don't remmeber whether they stock any 1/3000 stuff but it might be worth calling them to check. Its an FLGS that is well worth a visit!

No. Some retailers (Spirit Games for one) carry stock.
Or, more accurately, order it in occasionally... (two weeks delay on my order...) Whatever the inconvenience, it's certainly QUICKER to order from Navwar directly!

If you order from Spirit Games ask for Steve, he deals with all the mail order stuff and will get stuff out to you asap if you speak nicely to him.

If there is enough demand I am going to stock the Davco range in my shop and will provide the same service as I do for FOW.

I ordered a bout £50 worth of US and Japanese figures from Spirit Games. Those that they had in stock were issued right away and they even double checked that I have ordered the right ship variant in one case.

Overall a very good service

there was a stand there doing 1/2400th ships don't recall the name. BUT oh dear oh dear!!!my son bought abou 6 IJN ships from him and god are they awful. Then again they were about a quid a shot so you get what you pay for. I dare say they will paint up ok but they were so miscast and full of flash they will take ages to make good.

Maybe they are a little less detailed the GHQ (same scale) but they are only about £1.00 for a battleship as opposed to £8.00 from GHQ!

Roland

ps my stand was next door to his!

Not a little less detailed but a hell of a lot less detailed. In fact some of them don't even resemble the ship they are supposed to. But I agree, at a fraction of the cost they are worth it for someone to try the period without spending vast amounts. But I would certainly think about upgrading if you like the period. My son doesn't have a lot of cash and these were ideal to get a start in playing the game
