While I don't know of any TL20 systems that will be able to build these, I do have a question about them.
The only mention of Antimatter power plants in the rules are in Chapter 2 - Ship Design. And all that says is that they are available at TL20, generate 100 power per ton, and cost MCr10 per ton.
There is no info on the fuel requirements, costs, duration, etc.
Is it similar to 1E (last 28 days, 5,000Cr/ton of drive) which eliminates the need for any other fuel on the ship, including fuel for Jump? Would Reaction Drives still need normal fuel?
I'm just curious because I just created 1E ship that uses an AM power plant and while ridiculously expensive, it is pretty killer, and I wanted to see how it would work out in 2E.
