Anti-Drone System

There's been a LOT of interesting discussion during the Ukraine War about the use of drones on the battlefield. Some of it has some very enlightening impacts on Traveller combat, especially in a 2300AD sense.
Rheinmetal has just posted video footage of it's anti-drone system and I thought some folks might be interested.

Not the same weapon system, but probably the same application...

A device at the muzzle end of the barrel measures the exact speed of each round as it is fired, and automatically sets the fuse to detonate the round as it approaches a pre-set distance from the target. Each round disperses 152 small tungsten projectiles[3][4] weighing 3.3 grams (0.12 oz) each to form a lethal cone-shaped cloud to strike the incoming target.[2] Whilst these are too small to do major damage in themselves, the accumulation of damage from multiple strikes is expected to destroy wings and control surfaces, sensors and aerodynamics, causing the target to crash. Other firing modes are designed to be effective against surface targets such as small fast attack boats.

I've been sort-of keeping up with the goings-on in Ukraine and the drone guys over there are getting clever AF....
Like using one drone to map Russian trenches and then sending a follow on cloud to drop Willy Petes into them!
Damn if THAT ain't some 'WWI' style hatin'...
[side note: I've never been shelled before, just mortared [probably Soviet 82 and 120mm stuff]. I am VERY glad to make that distinction. Mortars scared me enough, so I can't imagine getting lit up with 155mm or better field howitzers]

The current crop have one major flaw, susceptibility to jamming. It is only a matter of time until AI is added to take over if the signal is lost (they may have already trialed this)
