Alternate XP Award System

Given the fun and controversy of my Streamlined Advancement thread, I thought I may as well post the other half of my houserules on XP.

I'm not a big fan of arbitrary award systems (ie, give the players whatever you feel is a good amount/fits your desire for advancement rate). Even if I choose to discard the calculated amount in favour of a more arbitrary XP reward, I like to have some hard numbers to begin with to give me a basis to work from. Hence, this system.

For context, I love calculating XP in Rolemaster, and am one of the few people I have ever heard of who use the system pretty much as written (again, I'm always willing to alter the amount the mechanics spit out, but I like the process ... its a thing 8))

The following system is based fairly heavily on the Silhouette XP scheme.
