A new NPC file has just gone up on the blog (see my sig for link and download the PDF). Arksum Hartimer is a treasonous apostate, but that firearm he carries has been the death of many who have tried to collect the massive bounty put on his head...

I just put another PDF up on the blog. This one is an introduction to Baron Solfernoy, an NPC who is the first of the Foe Files that I'll be adding over time.

Looks fantastic.

I think you covered all of the bases other than perhaps mojo, though I don't know how much of a 'non-crunchy' teaser you might be able to pull from that. Probably one of the harder things to do in selecting preview material.

Can't wait to get it myself. I'm trying to build-up sandbox material for getting my own AoT game going here soon and I was thinking of setting it in Morkesh, possibly seeing frequent action in Largil and the northwest which looks like it would run into lands formerly belonging to Sorandib but now falling into decline. So this book is even relevant to the ideas/game I had in mind.

And, well, Sorandib seems quite interesting besides. Especially the Artificers, IMO. But then... I have always been fond of Artifice and Summoning.

PS: Any idea on timeline for release yet? Or is that still far enough away to be prognosticating?

Should have been about 2 months ago....

Seriously - I'm finishing final proof of layouts this weekend, after that it's really down to how long it takes the changes to be done, which is not long once Will finds a slot to do it...

After that it's just down to when Matt gets it into the mill for printing, although I hope we can have PDF on sale by some time in July.

By the way - the Mojo stuff is in the Adventures, and much as I wanted to I felt I couldn't put bits of those in for preview because of the inevitable spoilers.

Hi Kirche, this is a question for Mongoose - suspect this book may be direct mail order and PDF only, I don't know if Mongoose are equipped to log a PDF order as pre-delivery on a dead tree order or not

Latest blog post is a summary of goings-on in the AoT game over on RPOL.net. You'll even find one of my hand-drawn sketch maps there (please consider the scale to be no more than indicative :wink illustrating the region of Western Borotmagia, where the action kicks off.

I'm really impressed with the RP capabilities and enthusiasm of the team so far, it's been great fun running this, plus a very useful playtest. I'm new to online gaming, and while I worry about the pace of online play - very easy to lose momentum - it also makes it possible for me to devise new characters and locations on the fly as needed that are sufficiently thought thru to get bedded in and become part of the fabric.

And on another note I do believe Matt is about to get the AoT Companion up on Drivethru...

Well, having been a long time away from the Age of Treason blog due to...well, writing stuff and the ongoing demands of work and home life...I made a new post yesterday.

So if you happen by the AoT blog you'll find a new PDF, this one being a brief history of Korantia, one of the key civilisations in the setting that is in line to either be conquered by he Taskan Empire or finally prove its match. It's draft, but correct in its main elements, some details may change. Lots more Korantine stuff in the works...
