Age of Conan - The Boardgame

Being a boardgame intensive player like I am, this is one of my most expected boardgames of this year.

It will be for up to five player, they play the kingdoms of Aquilonia, Nemedia, Turan, Stygia or Hyperborea and their aim is to conquer everything they can. Conan plays a part in the boardgame as a wanderer that can aid or hinder players.

Looks bloody good, can't wait for it to get released!

It is especially good to know the designers already create the War of the ring boardgame

This game is seriously, seriously late! It was suppose to be released this fall and as far as I know no playtesting has been started on this game. Which puts the release date quite a few months away minimum. Lets hope for a '08 release. I can't wait for this game either. You can download the War of the Rings board game rules from the Fantasy Flight website to get some idea of what the rules may be like in Age of Conan since War of the Ring is designed by the same company and designers. The most up to date info I have, I've added to the thread at Conan.com:

The game was initialy scheduled for late 2007 and I had expected it for November but I don't mind wating for another 3-4 monhs if the game really rocks.

Hello warzen - I'm talking about the board game - Age of Conan the Strategy Board Game, although the Age of Conan MMORPG is delayed as well.

I wish the two names were not so similar!
