I know there was another topic with a non-specific title about this book but with the cover release I thought I would make a new topic for it. I;'m excited about the various authors aspect - different styles for a adventure book like this is a good idea.

I really like the cover - it's beautiful - great job by Chris again! 8)

It looks like the poster for the new movie, "Carry on Conan".
Or a homage to the teen beach movies of the sixtes, something titled "Barbarian Blanket Bingo"

"Young Barbarians In Love"

"Teen Jungle Frollics"

Something like that.

Never afraid to be a contrarian, I actually really like that cover.

I like "realistic" art--stuff that doesn't look "drawn".

I think it's good stuff.

I guess if you're speaking from a technical aspect the artwork is fine. The skintones and backrounds are nicely rendered. But I'm a bit confused by the image. The girl looks like she's running for fun while Conan looks like he's trying to get her out of the way of something dangerous. The unfortunate thing is I can't see what in the jungle is supposed to be dangerous, which makes the work feel odd. This is the first Quilliams piece I'm disappointed with. :?

I really like it. Doesn't fit too well with the "adventures in Hyboria" title, but maybe it's all "spicy" stories in the best pulp tradition.

I am all for some barbarian porn adventures!

She failed her spot check and doesn't see the giant lizard off to her left.

I think it's pretty clear. She's oblivious to the danger ahead, and Conan is trying to protect her. But, he might not be able to save her in time.

Yes. The very end of People of the Black Circle comes to mind here.

"Look out!"

I would've preferred a brunette but I really love how Chris captured the jungle and the lighting. I'm sure this scan doesn't due the image justice.
