ACTA Thread Removal Pool

Digger

Mongoose
Just for fun, why don't we start a pool as to the exact date and time the ACTA thread will be deleted from the Mongoose forum.

Of course the pool is just for fun and is not open to Mongoose staff or LBH (no disrespect, but he probably knows more than any other non-Mongoose person).

Matt could you decide the winner in say a months time or longer if the thread is still going strong.

So here we go, append your guesses as we go along:

Digger - 2nd July 2009 @ 08:30

You never know, Matt might even award a prize to the closest guess! :D

Haha, great idea!

30th June, 4pm!

(Maybe this thread should be on a different forum, so we can see who won after it's gone??)

Even if that were true, it still ain't much

I'll guess at the hour of scampering for now, since I'm not allowed a real guess.

Just because I can go a little OTT on piecing together snippets of what Matt says, comes from practically living on these forums

LBH

I do not think it will die. I think it will be re-imaged.

Get rid of the Babylon 5 and just call it "A Call to Arms" forum.

The Babylon 5 part of the game maybe gone, but the rules still go on. It is a good easy starship combat rules system compared to some. I cannot see Mongoose getting rid of a good sound system and let it die.

B5 may be gone but there are other licenses around and even an in house universe.

I don't know, but I'm sure that all the B5 game fans out there will be treated with the same care and concern as the Starship Troopers players...

Matt has already said that this forum will be deleted, and a new one started for (non-B5) ACTA. This pool is for the date/time that this forum will disappear.

I opted for the pre-emptive strike, to avoid any WB lawyermongering at midnight :)

I opt for the day before the license from Warner Bros. is ended - not that I actually know when that is! June sometime?

Is a generic sci-fi version of the rules coming out? Possibly with a ship construction system?

These things have all happened before..........

I'm also betting midnight June 30th.

Hahaha, that's a good one!

How I wish it wasn't soo true
