ACTA: Star Fleet tournament at NOVA 2013....?

I'm thinking about running this at the mainly Warhammer 40K tournament next year just outside of DC. It's an August tournament. I'm going to talk to Mike Brandt (the tourney organiser) about it when I attend the 40K portion THIS year. They DO feature other games like FOW and Warmahordes....why not ACTA:Star Fleet?

Would you show? Looking for some enthusiasm on the West Coast for this game and seeing if we've got enough presence to 'justify' a tournament.

How many points should it be? 1000? More? Is 1500 too much?

I would be interested in a West Coast event and can bring two players and at least three 3000+ point fleets. (Fed, Klink, Rom) The bigger the game the better, especially if it were a mini campaign. The NashCon campaign event sounds pretty sweet but it was too short notice and airfare is too steep for last minute booking.
