Technically this is at the start of season 3... :wink:

But that whole battle is just epic... especially if you have seen the build up in episode one of season 3...
 
I've cropped some the Viper flight counters to two ships per counter...
Have a quick go yourself and see what you think
I think people would appreciate having more viper counters to play with rather than just two or three for the bucket..if you're representing squadrons

It'll also mean you can represent the vast fighter compliment of the cylons by having a lot on one counter...maybe 8 would be my max

I'm thinking of the 8 cylon fighters that starbuck and hot dog take on as my example....

I wouldn't reduce the Vipers to two per counter. At that level the rules would need to be far more detailed to deal with fighter movement and combat you are pretty much at the point of using individual fighter models then.

A Cylon Raider Wave represents 50-60 Raiders. I wouldn't mind spliting a Viper squadron in half to represent two wings. So 4 Squadrons becomes 8.

But giving an average Battlestar 40 fighter flights is just un-managable in the CTA system.

But this is something that can be discussed untill the cows come home and can only be finalised after playing a few games.

You are talking about Starbuck here, an exceptional pilot. The only pilot her equal, is the 'Late' Cat. In fact Starbuckin a MkII, still out pilots a good pilot in a Mk VII
 
I just think your main "audience " is going to be playing with one or two battlestars and 3-4 base stars max

so really the counters are the main tactical decision making they'll make...i.e you'll need more of them, so smaller flights will work better
the cylons yep keep as large swarm counters
 
Maybe once the rules are finalized... I'm not going to go updating them every 2 days because something keeps getting changed! When they're frozen let me know and I'll put em up.
 
could we big please have the v2 stats done?...just so we can have something to playtest for the first month or so?
 
Yeh, we can def try them out down at Aldershot next time - just need suitable proxy models for the big stuff - or I can print off some of those counters and laminate them.
 
can you laminate over card (like the ACTA counters card thickness) it might make them more durable
 
The ship viewer (currently) has no support for weapons on multiple fire arcs (ie. Acropolis has dorsal battery on "F/P/S" arc.

Also what priority level are the ships?
 
I wouldn't worry about the priority yet
and i'd just put them in the F we can pencil in the multiple arcs
 
Can you put a grey arc line through the pegasus akin to the Bucket as the white stands out too much..
