A quick question that came to my mind recently while reading the discussion of the Narn E-mines that can cancel SA's--including un-CAFing a ship:
Does a Scout ship have to be functioing at the time a ship fires in order to redirect its fire?
Example, I have a a Corvan that is redirecting fire for a Primus (Battle Laser) on another ship. The Corvan makes its re-direct role, but is destroyed before the Primus fires. Does the Primus still get to reroll misses?
And does it matter if the scout is only crippled and looses its scout ability? Or if the Scout is only reducing stealth?
