In my cousins group he Imperium has discovered that my group is mustering their fleet,of 53 ships of between 100 ton Scoutship and A 11,300 ton custom buid Freighter converted into Carrier and she planning to attack A 10,000 ton Freighter thats holding enough Ruby's from The Mine of Paal, it will be the biggest heistbhuman history and if divided evenly will all involved all at least Cr 444,600 each, after using Zhondani to turn the escort ships crews traitor and my cousin wants to know The Imperiums likely reasponse fleet as they found out but want to let it go ahead to catch them

A force that size is a threat to stability in the local area, and especially to interstellar commerce. Probable response would be to intercept with a task force including one or more cruisers and graphically destroy the main ships, with escorts chasing down the smaller vessels.
Post additional vessels over likely jump escape points to catch the runners. Pass intel from the survivors on to Naval Intelligence to enable others to be located and eliminated or captured.
Use of psionics to force personnel to turn traitor would disgust most Imperials. Likely response would be summary execution for all involved, survivors placed on the Most Wanted list. Possibly a sternly worded note to the Zhodani ambassador 'requesting' the Consulate deter its people from acting against Imperial interests. 16.72% chance of triggering the Fifth Frontier War.
