It is still very early in my learning curve on this game but at 1,000 points, an initiative sink is a big deal and at 500 it is huge. Early on, all things considered, a quick kill on a couple of F-5's or E-4's pays huge dividends in later turns.
ACTA: SF isn't different enough in order for that tactic would loose it's effectiveness).
So first one to go: Easiest kills, then the big shooters. And then the biggest shooters.
I only have acta: B5 experience as I'm waiting for the rulebook to be delivered at last,
but I think the experiences from there are still mostly valid at least from what I read
so far about acta: SF
