All points you make, noted. We have been working on something very large for Traveller, and all will be revealed in a couple of weeks or so (we really are 'this' close :)).
If you print it... I will buy it :)

It will be printed - in fact, we are having a bit of a change on Traveller printing (it is all good!), but I'll spill all the beans on that hopefully next week!

OK... been waiting for a printed copy of Mercenary 2nd Edition for months now. Could you tell Esdevium Games that Travelling Man, Newcastle, is still waiting for it?

I am afraid Esdevium has been a bit of a law unto themselves of late with Traveller - you can always go direct through us, we have lots of them on the shelf :)

Don't you just hate a tease

Just think, something for you to look forward to.

All will be revealed in time.

I hate that someone knows something I don't. I get the urge to uncover the secrets and that leads to torture, pain and the services the Spanish inquisition

I'm just going to go find a nice out of the way system to wait it out in. Might be a good time to visit Reft Sector.

I don't really see the value in Mongoose doing a K'Kree book at the moment.

I really like that Mongoose has been including a loosely "fleshed out" sector with the 3I alien books. The "value" is that there isn't is an "official" loosely "fleshed out" sector for either the K'Kree OR the Hivers. I've been playing/referring/buying Traveller material for a while. I like new material for the setting not necessarily new rules, which was why I didn't do the T5 Kickstarter or get the book.

I liked the GT version of the K'Kree and Hivers. I was kinda wishing that Dave Thomas or Andy Slack would have done both MgT K'Kree and Hiver books a while ago. But its been years since the MgT core book came out and neither has been done.

Has the large Traveller reveal Matt mentions above been made yet? I see the rotating banners on the home page as well, but they just link back to the home page.

So what is the big Traveller news?

Nothing said that I've seen, a few people seem to know or they're teasing the rest of us...

If indeed there is any news, perhaps something was said and misinterpreted?

Matt said "We have been working on something very large for Traveller, and all will be revealed in a couple of weeks or so."

That implies big news! :D

Yup and he said it nearly 3 weeks ago and since then, nothing.

There were rumours it's a new version of MgT. It seemed to be implied that it was closer to T5 but as the mechanics are so different that seemed unlikely, it's also been rumoured to be a rewrite that reorganises the core books to work together seamlessly.

These are all rumours with no substantiation!

I have a funny feeling I am getting my hopes up way too high!

I'll throw more fuel on the rumor fire. In ADB's Communique #115 last month, they had this to say regarding the Mongoose Traveller version of Prime Directive:

"We are currently on hold in conversions of the four Prime Directive books to Mongoose Traveller waiting for revised rules from Mongoose."

Sounds like a new version perhaps?
