2 Jan but nobody's nagging yet

I second the happy New Year sentiment! :D

And given the tumbles and lurgies that Charlie has apparently battled through in recent months, I don't think anyone has the nerve to nag her about late issues - especially at Christmas time!

Way to turn over a new leaf filled with patience in 2008 Poi. ;)

Most people don't work the 1st and hasn't been that many hours since the return.

p.s. In the MP blog entry on the 30th Matthew also mentions Mongoose is closed till the 5th for the holiday.

they aren't typically THAT late. Rare case where it's not out the first week of the month and it is a FREE product... ;)

I beg to differ, my friend. It was late last month - before that, I cannot remember the last time in _five_ years that it was late. We have a tendency to come in over the weekend if the 1st falls on a Saturday or Sunday.

As it happens, Charlotte made heroic efforts on the 30th, staying until well into the evening to finish off January's issue, but was unfortunately defeated by a technical problem.

The issue is laid out and complete, and as soon as the PDF experts come in on Monday, it will be up.

Truer words could not have been spoken, Agis.

It's up for me... you have to take the usual roundabout way of getting to it, a direct link on the news page every month would be much appreciated!

Hi guys. In fairness we were all off until yesterday (well I came back today... matt's way of thanking me for coming last tues!) but I appreciate your patience. I was here until 8pm on the 30th but all of the computers had a massive freeze out! in the end we had to admit defeat.

I have had a massive influx of articles so stay uned over the next few months... there are some good ones coming up!

Good to see it and sound like you have recovered !?

As mentioned on the ACTA board there may be an error with the optional beam rules article - IF its not a new rule that Matt has compiled

Beam B (if it is intended to be as Triggy wrote his rule) - should read

"re-roll on this table after each 5 or 6 rolled, continue to do so until no 5 or 6s are scored"

:D

Just to back up Da Boss. Triggy's beam system is the most popular option, even supported by me and I have one of the others named after me! If option B is intended to be Triggy's then it has a typo and should read as DB says.

Although it is good to see the optional beam rules in S&P, I am quite disappointed in the article itself, in terms of both content and length.
