1H weapon styles?

Yes, but I prefer the term 'Cultural Modelling' when it comes to inclusive Combat Styles. :)

If thats the case, I'm surprised there isn't just a single skill called Fighting (Culture), that covers all weapon skills used by a particular culture.

My players and I prefer to keep the styles simple. I offered a player a style that covered naginata and bow, but he turned it down in favour of separate skills.

I would probably give a little wiggle room on a case by case basis, but generally prefer to keep Combat Styles limited only to combinations that can be used at any one time. Sword & Shield, yes. Sword, Shield, & Bow, no. Sword, Shield, & Dagger, maybe.

I like the delineation of Skills based on styles, but prefer a little more granularity than just Fighting (culture). YMMV.

Admittedly, most of my rpg background includes 'crunch-heavy' games, so that probably has something to do with my un-willingness to make it too abstract as well.
