Well, at present at least, Starship Troopers is subsumed into the greater family of Battlefield Evolution games. Perhaps if and when it takes off again it'll see its own board. The change never bothered me, to be honest.

I've never had a problem with facing - or running - a lot of tanks if the rules don't make it a rollover. An inability to react or terrible vulnerability in close assault are two measures that come to mind in preventing tanks from dominating unduly. To be honest, if what Matthew says is true...

Well, they're still listing FIST and Land Warrior and such as an option. Modern Combat is, I think, set up to allow modenr or near-future stuff as the players desire, so stuff like the T-100 might still be in the cards. I think.

*heh* Too true. Many a time I've independently come up with a half-decent idea, only to find some lazy already-existing company's gone and snaked it, like, a year later. Admittedly, I'd have more room to grouse if I wasn't so utterly bone-idle.
