Actually Sniper Rifles tend to weigh more, the heavier barrel, action, and stock to make it a more reliable and stable platform for the shooter.

One of the things that anoys me in all of the books, is the weight of ammunition reloads..... there do not appear to be any. Ive had to revert to looking through all the CT books to find what I could and pro-rate those that do not have any. :P

If I remember correctly. Natural Telepathy is FTL, Artifical/mechanical Telepathy as in the research being developed and the soarse of the Empress wave are at the speed of light. Could be wrong though, but this is how I do it in my traveller universe.

Thread Necro. Well I revere engineered the robot examples several different ways, and to tell the truth Im not sure what way is the way it was to be. The closest that most all of them been designed is that the limbs add Slots. One could not possibly fit all the components and the limbs if one...

That mech thing was a construction vehicle, not a battle vehicle. The magnetic bullet thing well it my have a power drain that requires a certain amount of time to charge the capacitors not sure about that. Not sure where I heard that though.

The way I look at it is that like in real life, today, that armor does not keep you from getting hurt, but it lessens the injuries to hopefully less then lethal. As far as a TL5 antitank rifle taking out some one in power armor, those TL5 ATRs are capable of damaging if not disabling todays...

Starship trooper power armor is realy heavy and big, more like a walker, not quite but close.

I noticed this too. Ive been going through the original Little black books and megatraveller,and some TNE, and some Twilight 2000 stuff and penciling it in the books as I find it.
