I made my own using the Terminator Cyclone missile launcher on the top and did some missile shots for fun

Wanted the torpedoes to look like they could dish out alot of Damage

it's not always about the size of the missile...=p

I like the idea, though I think the box launchers are a bit overwhelming for the small saucer. Too bad they don't have a xill bases one.

Its a nice idea but I tend to agree the launchers a bit big. Might work better with the missile pods off an Apollo or Warlock perhaps? Also the missile trails look cool for a photo op but I wouldnt want them there during normal play personally. If theyre were removeable though it would be a really cool way of marking when slowloading stuff had fired....

It looks kind of groovy. I was thinking of making alt turrets on the xorrs I recently put together, but couldn't figure out the look I wanted.

I like the look of it but it does seem a little unbalanced. Maybe if you cut the pods off of the central "span" piece and put one on top one on the bottom? Sort of like how the weapons are on both sides of a Xorr?

You could use BattleTech LRM pods from a CPLT or MadCat or similar...

this is a concept model I wanted to do for the Xixx and wanted to see how the missile trails worked out. I agree the missile pods make it a bit heavy for a vree ship but I figured on either cutting the missile pods in half and sticking each half pod on the top and bottom of the model. This was meant for a painting contest too.

try using a small launcher - I'm thinking something like the Epic Whirlwind launcher.

That is just TOO cool! I really like it!

Now if I just find the same bit for cheap, I might just do the same as that is the very type of variant that I will prefer.
