For the benefit of A Paladin or Legends equivalent if 1 is convicted of A Crime he didn't commit and legally loses the rights, titles, benefits and privileges of A Paladin can he or she stay in The Paladin Class, despite legally no longer being A Paladin, as he or she didn't actually do what he or she was convicted of?

I would say that a Paladin convicted of a serious enough crime to lose the paladin Status would no longer be a Paladin, even if the paladin is innocent of the crime.

However, the PC could Quest to prove innocence and regain the Paladin Status, even if that isn't officially in the rules.
