Will you buy the Drakh Fleetbox?

there is more chance of me playing Star Fleet Battles (i`m talking hell freezing over here) than putting forth money for the Drakh.

Not a big fan of the carrier mini but I quite like the larger cruisers and the raiders. And the Colour scheme is fine, I mean look at the drakh in the show, the only other option is to paint them in tiny slightly different shaded hexes.... (now admittedly that would look awsome but can you imagine painting it? )

Come to think of it Im almost temted to score that hex patter into the minis with knife and THEN paint them.... (if/when I get round to getting a drakh fleet that is )

And don't knock Starfleet Battles, its a great game A little scary on the rulebook side but still much fun B5Wars is better though. Plus its B5 so it wins by default

I've painted my raiders in a mottled pattern that has worked out rather well, they look pretty good on the table. This effect closely resembles the hulls from the series. They were a real pain to do, very time consuming but worth it overall. I don't think however that this pattern will work on the carriers, in fact I think the only thing that will work on the carrier is a lightning cannon at close range.... preferably early on in the game so that I can remove it from sight and have fun with my raiders....

Grrr, still no Drakh fleet. There's been a problem with the molds apparently and i've gotta wait for a box coming over from the States. :evil:

Six months on, and still no Motherships? Long past time for an update from Mongoose Towers. At least take it off the website til it's fixed.

it seems the official line is to just send mails to people waiting saying they can keep on waiting, sorry.
Personally,I think it is disgusting customer service, and pretty much sums up the way Mongoose seems to be heading. I have very little faith in the company anymore, and think I may actually rate them worse than Games Workshop.

Agreed. People deserve a real update on what's going on with the Motherships and Carriers. I didn't order any luckily, but damn, after six months you'd think that new molds would've been made. I'm guessing that the G'Vrahn and Ka'Bin'Tak had the same problem too seeing how they just mysteriously vanished from the upcoming products list two months back. I'm glad they did it before because I was planning on ordering a G'Vrahn. I'd hate to be going through what Drakh players are going through.
