Wiki Contest...

Ok, folks. While I said I wouldn't use the MRQ Wiki (http://mrqwiki.pbwiki.com) to shamelessly promote Seraphim Guard, I never said I wouldn't use Seraphim Guard to push the Wiki.

Therefore, every week for the rest of October, the most active* Wiki user will receive one free Seraphim Guard product of their choice. I'll be determining the "winners" on the 23rd and the 30th, and the winning can even be kept to redeem for a single future product (such as the upcoming "Celestial Chorus: Five Angelic Beings", "Five Unique Fantasy Monsters", or "Gatecrasher 2371").

So get to posting all your house rules and other MRQ content, already! :)

Tim.

* "most active" is defined as the person who posts the most usable content for MRQ on the MRQ wiki at the address above, as judged by me.

Ok, i give up. How do I log in to it to add content? I created a pbwiki ID even and that doesn't seem to do me any good.

just use the log in link at the top right.

You only need the password (runequest) to log in and make changes. You can fill in your name in the optional name and e-mail fields - otherwise Tim will credit your IP address with all your hard work.

Good point.

Make sure you put your name in when you sign in, otherwise it'll be a lot harder for me to give you your winnings.

And the wiki contributor password is, in fact, "runequest" without the quotation marks.

So, we could save ourselves £1.50? Be still my beating heart ... :D

Good idea, though.

Ok, so, anyone can win the contest EXCEPT soltakss.

:)

Just kidding.

Actually, I'm including my Fudge games in the winnings; it's *anything* that Seraphim Guard publishes, which includes not only the lesser expensive "plain wrap" supplements for RuneQuest, but Gatecrasher and HeartQuest as well.

Or, you can hold out for a future product.

I'll be the first to admit, however, it's a token prize. My main goal is to increase the Wiki content.

I've corrected all the occurrences of "Runequest" on the front page to "RuneQuest" - does that count as a valuable contribution? :D

How did you create a PBWiki ID? I can't seem to do it and have to log in each time I visit.

Just so everyone knows, the first week's contest is over and I'm tabulating the results; I'll hopefully know who won this evening.

Don't let that stop you, the contest runs this week as well with the same prize!

So quit reading this and get to posting your MRQ content. :)
