Why the new Troligan?

i dont think they should be in the centauri fleet or minbari, otherwise all the fleets will want to have some sort of technology siimilar to it, and then most of a battle will be about moving the enemies ships as well as your own, and what about boresight heavy fleets? theyd hardly ever win

He's right I was refering to the B5Ws version on the Troligan. It's fluff then was that it was heavily armored to allow it to drive into the middle of an enemies fleet, then use it's shifters to disrupt the fleets formation. he brakiri shiftes were designed afterwards and were less useful than the Minbari version, which to my knowledge was only used on the Troligan and the Shargotti.

It seems a neutron cannon-less troligan with shifters instead would be a better option than another beam heavy ship fighting against the tinashi for fleet space. Heaven forbid the Minbari be allowed to use a tactic other than sit back and shoot at range.

It's not really as if they can use that one anyway - their main armament is outranged by almost everyone else at every PL!

Yes, but what you can't see can't even shoot you at the ranges where you can't see it (barring battle level - barely, and war).

Strange, I often see ships not see stealthed ships - of various races - at 2" or less (which is easier to type than say!). Been on both sides of that ! :D
