Why I love Panzerschiffe. . .

To run the historical scenarios I want to play, I'm going to have to buy an additional 41 ships, and it will cost me $123 plus shipping. I don't even want to know what that would cost in GHQ.

To get them painted, based, and looking presentable, it will take my wife approximately 4 hours to get that much done! Waaaay better than assembling all those ships!!

Sure, they won't look as gorgeous as some of the GHQ models folks have posted on here, but they'll look fairly decent and be much cheaper and faster!!

After that first order is in, and everything is done I can look at what else it will take to flesh out my fleets to a point I'm comfortable with. Probably will easily be that many more ships!

Don't the navwar ships look slightly better and cost the same or less than yours??

Perhaps the difference is country, Navwar are quite cheap here in the UK?

Yeah, I couldn't find a NavWar supplier here in the states and international shipping adds considerably to the price. . . . not to mention the fee my credit card charges for currency conversion.

Plus I prefer the larger 1:2400 scale ships. :)

hey soul, im really considering panzerschiffe for my fleets. any chance of some pics of their stuff? i know they have em on the site but some size comparisons and closer pics would be cool.

id like to check out navwar but i cant find a US distributor and id also like to see some pics of the ships before buying and navwar doesnt seem big on pictures.

GHQ is cool but are just too expensive. they offer a bismarck for 14 when i can get one from panzer for 5. granted the detail isnt anywhere near the same but im a part time painter/modeler at best so no real loss there.

Well, haven't done anything about taking pics yet. . .

But Panzerschiffe has updated their web site and now has images posted for all their models:
