I ignore them. Simply not worth bothering with.

On Primus vs. Tertius; against some opponents- Drazi, EA- two flights of Razik can actually go quite a long way to keep your ships in one piece. They do keep the T- bolts and Sky Serpents off.

I've taken a Primus over a Tertius against Minbari for the extra fighter flights. Raziks are on par with Nials for dogfighting and once they're cleared you use them to reduce the stealth on the big ships.

Seeing that I play EA and a buddy of mine plays Dilgar, we've ignored the dates for now. It's kinda neat to have the Dilgar show up against B5-era ships. It's like one of the Dilgar fleets went into hiding after the war and has come back to avenge their homeworld. Throw in a few Raider ships allied with the Dilgar and you have an interesting "what if" battle against EA.

Always. Otherwise there's no point to having some ships. Who'd take an Avioki rather than a Kaliva for example. The later ships often outstrip the older ones with the same PLs.

Alas as an EA player with Armaggedon I have been curtailed by mandatory ISD's for my fleet, darn their eyes!!!!
